The 2nd Annual Mitchell Thorp Walkathon was a big success with approximately 700 people coming out in person to show their support, with others sponsoring participants or making donations. You've helped raise nearly $40,000 which will help ease the financial burden placed upon the MTF families.

The 1st Annual Mitchell Thorp Walkathon was a huge success with approximately 1,000 people coming out in person to show their support and approximately 500 more people showing their support by sponsoring participants or making donations. You've helped raise over $60,000, which will help ease the financial burden placed upon the MTF families.

Carlsbad City Counsel Approve Renaming of Field

Carlsbad City Council approves the renaming of Poinsettia Field 1 to Thorp Field.
Mitchell has been watching down on this project from the first day that it came to us to honor our son with the naming of a ball field for him. We are excited and anxious to launch the Mitchell Thorp Foundation to help other children and families with severe illness.
