Kassandra is a beautiful fifteen-year-old Carlsbad High School st udent. In the fall of 2013, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin ’s Lymphoma and has been under going brutal chemotherapy and blood transfusions for her treatment. Before Ethan was born he was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) and Esophageal Atresia/Tracheo-Esophageal Fistula (TEF-EA). At only 6 hours old he had his first surgery which was to attach his stomach and esophagus. At one month old he had his first open heart surgery and was able to come home at six weeks old. The Barvinchak Family came to MTF through their Social Worker at Rady’s Children Hospital. Amanda has been diagnosed with bone cancer. Amanda is an amazing young lady who’s an outstanding track athlete at her high school and even received many scholorship offers. Her diagnosed condition came right after graduation. The Snerling Family came to MTF through their Social Worker at Rady’s Children Hospital. Little Dewayne has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Cancer.
