The Snerling Family came to MTF through their Social Worker at Rady’s Children Hospital. Little Dewayne has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Cancer. MTF is helping three-year-old Amelia Heston, who was born with multiple craniofacial abnormalities and facio-aricula vertebral malformation spectrum, which causes deafness. The family’s physicians have determined that she is a perfect candidate for an auditory brain stem implant (ABI) -- the only device clinically proven to restore partial hearing ability to people without auditory nerves.

Is 6 years old and is diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, myoneural disorders, chronic respiratory failure, gastrostomy status, lesion of sciatic nerve, and muscle weakness. Monserrat is non-verbal and cannot sit or walk. She lives with her mother and father and two other siblings.

MTF is helping this family of five. Their daughter Danae age 6 has Hydrocephalus Cerebral Palsy. They currently are all living in one bedroom that they rent from their uncle. They have to much medical equipment to put in the one bedroom. They have to carry her up and down the stairs where the bedroom is.
