Q: What time is the Run/Walk?

A: Opening Ceremonies begin at 9:00 a.m Run Starts at 9:30 Walkers take off after runners 9:35 a.m. Event ends at 12 noon.

Q: Where do I park?

A: There are three parking lots inside Poinsettia Park. You can also park on Hidden Valley Road or other nearby streets.

Q: What is the course?

A: The course map is HERE

Q: What time does registration open?

A: 8:30am

Q: Can I sign up to run or walk on the day of?

A: You sure can!

Q: Can I bring my dog?

A: Sorry, you have to leave your four-legged friend at home.

Q: Can my kids come? What about strollers?

A: Of course! All kids are welcome and strollers are permitted.

Q: Can I walk the 5K race course?

A: Yes, walkers have a choice to do 3 loops around the park to make the 5K (easier less hills) or do 1 loop in and out side the park (more challenging)

Q: Will there be food and activities at the event?

A: Absolutely, there will be lots of food, vendors and entertainment before and after the race, including a DJ, bands, a kids area, performance groups and a spectacular aerial entry by retired Navy Seal Jim Woods.

Q: Do I get my chip timer when I register?

A: TBD, Check back here at a later date for more information

Q: What if it rains?

A: Grab an umbrella! The Hearts for Hope Walk is a rain or shine event!
